When I was asked to replace our aging, manned (by students) mall kiosk with a un-manned automated kiosk, I went to work on a design that was bright, fresh and hopefully inviting. It incorporates a touch-screen computer (a Metropolis model by DynaTouch) that links back to our website on one side and a 32" flat panel TV (by MediaTile) on the other. There was a press conference where our president & CIO spoke to it's function & if you look closely at the end of this gallery you may even spot yours truly ;-) |

The OC Digital Signage system has many of these 40" Samsung monitors displalying content all around our campus. See some content examples below. I designed the layout of these to be compatible with the same images used on the mall kiosk so that we are not repeating work and utilizing the extra space for an RSS news scroller, directional arrows, time, date & weather. |
